External FP&A · Monthly analysis
A recurring service for U.S. privately held businesses with accounting already in place. We work from the financial information you already have, alongside your accountant or CPA.
1What the service delivers
The same report every month. The topic changes with what concerns you.
What happened to sales, margin and expenses, and what deserves attention.
What moves your margin, and in which products, customers or channels.
Where cash, working capital and results are heading, while there is still time to act.
What to do first, and what it is worth.
Every monthly review opens with a chart like this one, from the sample report.
2How an engagement runs
The cycle starts when your accountant closes the month, whether that is the 10th or the 20th. From there, there is a conversation every week. The direction is set with the report; the how is worked out in the conversations of the following weeks. In that first conversation you decide where it is worth going deeper, so the analysis goes to what matters to you, not to what we assume.
We receive the financial statements and the detail for the month.
We deliver and present the monthly review: what changed and why, and how the agreed actions are going.
With the full monthly report
We go into the detail of the findings: which products, customers or lines each change sits in, and what caused it.
With one or two pages of detail
We evaluate the options that come out of the analysis and what each would take.
With one page of options with their estimated effect
We concentrate on the few options that matter and agree what to do or measure.
With a summary of what was agreed
Then your accountant closes the next month and the cycle starts again. A conversation every week, at a fixed time agreed at the start.
The distributor in our sample report, phase by phase. This time the subject was discounts. In a real month there may be several points open at once; we keep it to a few, so each one gets resolved.
3Where Finanzap fits
Each one is the expert in something different, and they work best together. Tax, audit and the close belong to your CPA; the table shows the usual engagement of each.

Your accountant already handles the close, tax and compliance. There is no need to add this analysis to that load: that is what Finanzap is for. It is the only thing we do, every month, with a conversation every week, for a fixed fee.
Finanzap can complement a CFO or finance leader. It is not a substitute where full finance leadership is required.
We work with the financial statements you deliver, exactly as you deliver them. We do not touch the books, the tax work or your relationship with the client. If a client asks you for this analysis and you would rather not add it to your workload, let’s talk.
4Pricing
The service is the same for every client. You pay for the monthly review and the decisions it supports, not for time. The fee is the same every month and does not change with the number of calls or questions inside the cycle.
US$3,000 per month
Agreed in advance. No hourly billing and no setup fee.
US$2,000 per month, fixed for 12 months, for the next two clients. Two spots at this rate. In return we ask one thing: a short testimonial once you have seen the results. It can be published without your name, and it will say that you received the reduced rate.
The first half covers your onboarding, your model and your first monthly review. With that review in hand you decide whether we continue: you have five business days to tell us, and the second half is paid only if you do. The fee is the one agreed at the start. After that it is month to month, with 30 days’ notice to end it.
A one-time review of 2026, before your 2027 budget, built from the months your CPA has already closed (usually January to October). US$1,200, credited to your monthly service if you continue within 30 days (see terms). Five spots; book by November 30.
5Before you start
No. Finanzap is a service delivered by a senior finance professional, not software. The name joins three concepts: finance (finanzas in Spanish), analysis and planning.
No. You pay a fixed monthly fee for the analysis, the monthly review and the weekly follow-through: a conversation every week. We do not bill hours or sell on-demand availability.
U.S. privately held businesses with roughly US$2 million to US$30 million in annual revenue that already have accounting in place and want to understand their numbers every month.
The first month covers getting to know the business, receiving your information, building your model and your first monthly review, presented in a conversation. The first half of the fee covers all of that, including the review. With it in hand you have five business days to decide whether we continue: if you do, you pay the second half; if you decide to stop there, tell us in writing and you pay nothing more. No reason needed. The review is delivered once we have your complete information for the month, so the period starts counting from that delivery.
No. Your accountant or CPA remains in place. Finanzap works from the financial information already produced and adds the monthly analysis of those numbers for management.
Not in the full CFO sense. Finanzap does the analysis (profitability, cash, working capital and forecasting) without taking on treasury, capital strategy or the broader finance leadership role.
Four things you already have: the monthly trial balance from your accounting system; your sales detail by customer and product; your budget or your expectations for the year (if there is no budget, we build a baseline together); and your knowledge of the business, which we draw on in the weekly conversations. For the cash forecast we also use your receivables and payables aging. Everything arrives as exported files: we do not need access to your accounting system or your bank, or the ability to move money or change your records.
We work with the information the way your accountant produces it. If your companies are already consolidated, we use the consolidated figures; if not, we analyze each company separately. We do not prepare the accounting consolidation: that is the work of your accountant or CPA.
We sign a confidentiality agreement before you share any financial information, and we ask only for what the agreed analysis needs. See our confidentiality page.
No. The first half of the fee covers your onboarding and your first monthly review. With that review in hand you have five business days to decide whether we continue, and the second half is paid only if you do. After that it runs month to month, and either side can end it with 30 days’ notice. The value comes from following the numbers over time, so most of it appears after the first few cycles.
In U.S. dollars, by ACH or wire to a U.S. bank account. No international payments. Payment details are on each invoice.
We do not make economic forecasts. When a change in your numbers comes from outside, such as tariffs, interest rates, exchange rates or supplier prices, we show how much it weighed on your figures and what options you have. We can also build scenarios on assumptions we agree with you, for example what happens if a tariff goes up. Customs matters stay with your customs broker, and tax matters with your CPA.
That can work well if someone in your company can direct the work. An analyst runs the analysis they are asked for; someone in management still has to decide what to look at, review it and turn it into decisions. Finanzap brings that judgment: each month we tell you what changed, why, and what your options are, and we talk it through with you every week. Nothing to hire, train or manage, and if you decide to stop, you end it with 30 days' notice.
We return or delete the information you provided, when the engagement ends or whenever you ask, except what the law requires us to keep. See our confidentiality page.
A short conversation about the business, the current financial information and the decisions management is trying to make. No special report or presentation is required.
With every monthly close. When cash is tight, we update it between closes, weekly or every two weeks as we agree with you in the review, with the actual bank balance and the large movements. The first weeks rest on recorded receivables and payables; the last ones depend more on assumptions. That is why the focus is on the cash low point and the week it falls in, not on the exact balance of each week.
